Kerrithrarr

Kerrithrarr was a Wookiee politician in the Rebel Alliance. He was active during the last years of the Galactic Empire.

In the days after the Battle of Endor, Kerrithrarr signed the Declaration of the Alliance of Free Planets alongside other important leaders of the Alliance like Leia Organa, Admiral Ackbar, Borsk Fey'lya and Mon Mothma. One month later, he signed the Declaration of a New Republic.

Some months after that, the New Republic was really (not only officially) created. Kerrithrarr and the other signatories of the Declaration of a New Republic became the mobile New Republic Provisional Council, with Mon Mothma as the Chief of State. This Inner Council would be active until the capture of Coruscant by the New Republic, 7 ABY, to be replaced by the first New Republic Senate. Kerrithrarr then became the new Senator of Mytaranor sector. In 10 ABY he was one of the signatories of Why Do We Fight the Empire?.

Kerrithrarr was still the Senator of Mytaranor Sector twelve years after being named, during the Black Fleet Crisis and the end of Leia Organa Solo's tenure as Chief of State of the New Republic.
