Kesh was a remote planet located in Wild Space. It was the homeworld of the Near-Human Keshiri species. The planet was mountainous and covered mostly in sand, with at least one major ocean.
In 5,000 BBY a Sith starship, the Omen, crashed onto the planet, and the stranded survivors formed the Lost Tribe of Sith. The Keshiri believed that the Sith were their gods, the Skyborn, and gave themselves over to lives of service to the Tribe.

Description
Edit
Kesh was a remote planet located in Wild Space. It was a mountainous planet, holding at least one major range, the Takara Mountains—originally called the Cetajan Mountains. This range of mountains bordered a large ocean. The ocean lay next to a beach of lavander colored sand.[2]

Kesh consisted mostly of small settlements, but contained at least one large city called Tahv. To the west of Tahv lay the Takara Mountains, where the Omen crashed.[3]
History
Edit
In 5,000 BBY, during the Great Hyperspace War, Omen, a Sith starship carrying Lignan crystals crashed on this mountainous planet. Though it was not technologically advanced, the survivors of the crash established a community known as the Lost Tribe of Sith, and over millennia they grew into an order of substantial number.[4]
In 41.5 ABY, the inhabitants of Kesh regained space travel for the first time in over five thousand years, when a Sith Meditation Sphere known as Ship arrived on Kesh. The tribe spent the next two years capturing ships and creating a Sith armada.[2]
Two years later, the fleet contained several dozen ships, including the rebuilt Omen. After sensing the presence of exiled Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker through the force, a strike team was put together to hunt down and kill Skywalker. It was also at this time that Ship left Kesh.[2]
Inhabitants
Edit
The Keshiri, a purple-skinned Near-Human species, were native to the planet.[2]
Locations
Edit
Takara Mountains
Edit
The Takara Mountains were a non-volcanic[3] mountain range that bordered one of Kesh's oceans. Inside the mountains was a Sith Temple, built by the Lost Tribe of Sith. The mountains were very steep, and the Temple was accessible only by air or a hazardous climb up the slopes.[2]
Sith Temple
Edit
The Sith Temple was the Temple of the Lost Tribe of Sith, built over the crash site of the Omen. The temple's architecture consisted of simple black spires and towers. Several statues were located on balconies and in the Temple courtyard.[2]
Tahv
Edit
Tahv was the capital city of Kesh. Built around 5,000 BBY by the Keshiri; Tahv original purpose was to keep the Keshiri safe from dangerous creatures. After the Lost Tribe of Sith helped the Keshiri either drive away or domesticate Kesh's native beasts, Tahv became a decorative city, focusing mainly on workings of art, often created by Sith artists using the Force.[2]
Behind the scenes
Edit
The planet of Kesh first appeared in the eBook Lost Tribe of the Sith: Precipice. However, it remained unnamed until its appearance in Omen, the second novel in the nine-part Fate of the Jedi series.
