Prince Xizor called Maliss his "shadow killer".^[1]

In 0 BBY, Maliss was seen in Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley on unknown but certainly lethal business.^[1]

During the Galactic Civil War, Maliss killed Stano Hapin, the head of the Disac pirates.^[2]

In 3 ABY, Maliss was sent by Xizor to bring in the Kerestian Limna Yith, a mercenary enmeshed in Black Sun's power struggles. Unusually, he failed, and Yith, and the datacard she held, were delivered to Mal Biron, one of vigo Sprax's agents, by a group of adventurers.^[3]
