Keyan Farlander was a human male who served as a rebel pilot within the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[1] Farlander was present at a briefing aboard the Alliance flagship Home One shortly prior to the Battle of Endor. During the briefing he stood beside Palso Thern and other fellow pilots.[2]
As an A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter pilot, Farlander was equipped with a red flight suit and helmet. He had light skin and brown hair.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Keyan Farlander first appeared as the player character in the Legends video game Star Wars: X-Wing, with a history expanded on in the game's supplemental material. Sources published in the many years following the game's release would identify Farlander as the pilot of the Y-wing seen flying away from the exploding Death Star alongside the Millennium Falcon and Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles' X-wings in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[3] In the new canon started in 2014, the identity of the Y-wing pilot was changed to Evaan Verlaine.[4]
In the film, he was portrayed by actor David Stone, who also played Wioslea in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and Will Scotian in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.[5][6][7]
