HistoryEdit

Kiilimaar was the site of a battle between the Galactic Empire and the Rneeki pirates shortly prior to the Battle of Endor. It began with a dispute over an abducted TIE Defender R&D scientist, in which the Rneeki demanded a ransom for the scientists' safe return. The Empire tricked the Rneeki by handing over the ransom, retrieving the scientist, then sending their code to attack the Rneeki "full speed to Kiilimaar" and take back the ransom into Imperial hands. The Rneeki pirate forces were destroyed by starfighter attack led by famous Imperial starfighter pilot Maarek Stele.
