Kina Margath was a Human female businessperson on Elshandruu Pica who owned and operated the five-star 27th Hour Social Club (part of a conglomerate known collectively as Margath's). She was also a foster agent for Alliance Intelligence during the Galactic Civil War. As a high-power executive, she was known for always being immaculately dressed and very professional in her dealings.

She was a friend of both Sair Yonka and Aellyn Jandi, and agreed to help keep their affair a secret by claiming Yonka was on Elshandruu Pica to meet her, not Aellyn. She was also an old friend of Booster Terrik, and Corran Horn believed that the two had a romantic relationship. However, he tried not to mention it, as Mirax Terrik disapproved due to Kina's younger age.
