The Kingdom of Cron was a territory carved out of the Cronese Sweeps by Xer VIII, the pirate father of Xim the Despot. The kingdom was goverened by three capitals, including the worlds of Argai and Raxus Prime.

The kingdom was independent again following Xim's death. During the time of the Galactic Empire, 14 former worlds of the Kingdom were organized into the Cronese Mandate.
