"Get on your speeder and go visit Durchine, Holshef, Apapaba, Kinlo, and Marhas. Tell them Rosey will come by and move them to new hiding places tonight, in case more informants are wagging their rotten little tongues."
―Yahenna Laxo to Merei Spanjaf[src]

Kinlo was a criminal wanted by the Galactic Empire. Kinlo was hidden by Yahenna Laxo of the Gray Syndicate, one of several such individuals in hiding for petty crimes. The Gray Syndicate was a minor presence in the world of crime on the[1] Outer Rim[2] planet of Lothal, though Laxo fancied it as something greater. He accepted credits to hide these individuals, but would sell them out at any time if they could no longer pay.[1]

When the Empire conducted a crackdown of suspicious activities on Lothal, they struck Laxo's operations hard, taking out one of his warehouses and two of his gambling clubs. Worried they might catch wind of his other activities, he decided to have Rosey of his syndicate visit Kinlo along with Apapaba, Durchine, Holshef and Marhas that night to move them to new locations. Prior to this, he sent Merei Spanjaf, another member of the group, to tell them to be packed and ready.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Kinlo is mentioned in passing in Servants of the Empire: Imperial Justice, the third title of Jason Fry's Servants of the Empire quartet. One of several individuals hidden by Laxo, the book states that the crimes of those hidden by him other than Holshef fell into the category of gambling debts or other self-inflicted troubles.
