The Kintan strider was a ferocious creature with incredible healing abilities. They were extinct on their homeworld of Kintan, but used as guard beasts by many Hutt gangsters.
It was a white creature with large shoulders and arms that nearly dragged on the ground, and commonly carried sticks and large poles to use for weapons and means of eating.
They were represented as a holomonster playing piece in the game of dejarik, and one of their tactics was the kintan strider death gambit.
