Biology and appearance
Edit
Physically, these animals were noted for being an ugly sight to behold with them holding a ruddy pinkish-orange along with laughly puffy features. Despite this appearance, Kintan striders were noted for being ferocious, aggressive, vicious and had a relentless bloodlust They were quick and agile whilst possessing exceptional healing capabilities that allowed them to survive a ferocious beating whereupon they recovered in order to bring a similar punishment to their attacker.[3]
It was a white creature with large shoulders and arms that nearly dragged on the ground, and commonly carried sticks and large poles to use for weapons and means of eating.
They were represented as a holomonster playing piece in the game of dejarik, and one of their tactics was the kintan strider death gambit.
History
Edit
These beasts were originally native to the Endless Wastes of Kintan. Their ferocity made them a respected adversary to generations of ancient Nikto orders. On their homeworld, striders died off due to a combination of pollution or being hunted to extinction. It proved to be one of the last creatures to had died at the hands of the Nikto. However, by this point, the creatures had been transported to other worlds and bred on such planets long before their demise on Kintan.[3]
