Kirrek was a planet in the Empress Teta system. It was the site of two battles during the Unification Wars and the Great Hyperspace War. In the former, it was the last world to fall to Empress Teta. In the latter, it was attacked by the Sith Empire, which was easily repelled by the Galactic Republic.
After the Krath seized power in the system during the Great Sith War, Kirrek remained loyal to the deposed Lord Keto. As a result, Satal Keto orderd the destruction of three cities on Kirrek.
The planet boasted a highly advanced population which survived, for the most part, off Kirrek's abundant plant life.

The PC game Star Wars: Rebellion mistakenly places Kirrek in the Quelli Sector (a misspelling of the true Quelii sector) of the Outer Rim.
