The Knight Hammer, originally named the Night Hammer, was an Executor-class Star Dreadnaught that had been constructed in secret by Superior General Delvardus.

At an estimated cost of 77.6 billion credits, the Night Hammer was equipped with state of the art armaments and engines. Its most advanced feature was its black stealth-armor, which made the vessel difficult to detect both visually and with sensors.

After Delvardus' death at the hands of Admiral Daala, Colonel Cronus presented the ship to her. Daala took the Night Hammer as her second flagship, adding a "K" to its name as a pun, proving that she did indeed have a sense of humor so long as it involved the annihilation of the Jedi.
Daala used the Knight Hammer in an attack against Yavin 4, but ended up losing it completely when the Jedi Callista Ming fired all the torpedoes from the Knight Hammer's own TIE Bombers, destroying the giant ship's sublight engines and sending it plummeting into the gas giant Yavin. Thanks to intuitive designs, however, most of the crew, including Daala, managed to escape.
