Knowt's Disease was a degenerative affliction that destroyed body tissue. Pter Thanas died of it less than five years after being diagnosed. The wealthy Coruscanti businessman, Archa Sabis, was also afflicted with the disease but was able to save himself by replacing his afflicted body parts with cybernetic prostheses.
