Koep was a Zabrak male sergeant in the Republic Army who was stationed in the High Security Section of Belsavis prison, a Galactic Republic penal colony on the planet Belsavis, during the invasion of Belsavis by the reconstituted Sith Empire during the Galactic War.[1]
