Koja-rum was a type of rum that could be found on[1] the Outer Rim[2] planet Saleucami. The beverage's alcoholic properties could cause the drinker to become intoxicated.[1] Koja-rum partially shared its name with koja nuts, a type of nut used to make milk.[3]
In 4 ABY,[4] months after the Battle of Endor, Dav Taffral returned to his Saleucami home after serving with the Alliance to Restore the Republic. His brother Webb Taffral, an Imperial loyalist, became drunk on koja-rum and tried to attack Dav upon being insulted. The two brothers then scuffled until their father, the farmer Glen Taffral, broke up the fight.[1]

Koja-rum appeared in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
