"One tribe of these Duloks are called the Korga, and they've been become quite adept in killing their cousins, the Ewoks."
―A Rescue Our Lesser Brothers representative, to a spacer[1]

The Korga were a tribe of Duloks living on the Forest Moon of Endor.[1] Some members of the group lived within a cave used as a hunting outpost.[2] The Korga were known to be very hostile towards Ewoks,[1] particularly with those of the Panshee and Gondula tribes.[3]

During the Galactic Civil War, the Korga were rumored to have contacts with the Rebel Alliance.[4] After the Battle of Yavin, the organization called Rescue Our Lesser Brothers decided to help the Ewok species from the violent Duloks. The organization determined that reducing the number of the Korga population could be beneficial for the Ewoks.[1] Around the same time, the explorer Tinrilo x'Rilsam was attacked by a group of Korga upon discovering a Solitary Hutt in the Desert of Salma.[5]

Behind the scenes[]

The Korga appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[6] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[7]
