Korolev was a medical CR90 corvette in the Rebel Fleet.

HistoryEdit

Korolev transferred wounded from the evacuation of Brigia during Operation Strike Fear to the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Redemption.

The transfer was interrupted by the arrival of the Imperial Nebulon-B frigate Warspite which began launching TIEs. The actions of Red Squadron, and particularly Keyan Farlander, protected the transfer and all Rebel ships escaped into hyperspace.

LegacyEdit

A simulation based on guarding the corvette would later be part of the New Republic's training program. When Wedge Antilles reformed Rogue Squadron, this test was used as one of the benchmarks for candidates to enter the squadron.

The Korolev was named after Sergei Korolev, the father of the Soviet space program.
