Kossex was a Weequay Jedi Master and General who participated in the Clone Wars.

Master Kossex was part of Red Squadron during the Clone Wars, flying her Jedi starfighter under the command of Generals Tsui Choi and Aayla Secura. At the First Battle of Kamino, Kossex destroyed a droid starfighter on the tail of Anakin Skywalker, but was attacked by a squadron of enemy fighters. A droid starfighter fired upon Kossex's ship, destroying it and killing the Jedi Master instantly.

Kossex is mistakenly identified as male in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which contradicts her gender as established in The New Essential Guide to Alien Species.
