Kosta was an X'Ting, and the eldest member of the Hive Council on Ord Cestus by the time of the Clone Wars. Loyal to the hive, Kosta held contempt for Cestus Cybernetics and its puppet member of the Council, Caiza Quill. In 21 BBY, during the Mission to Ord Cestus, she asked Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi to recover a pair of X'Ting eggs that had been hidden underground during the Great Plague.
