Krin Koda was a legendary scout in the early years of the Galactic Empire.^[1] At some point, he discovered Koda's World, a planet which was eventually named after him, and saved the native sentient species Tempestro from a ravaging disease. As a token of gratitude, they gave him the Eye of Koda.^[2] He thought that it was a map that lead to a planet where ultimate power and wealth could be obtained. At one point, however, he disappeared.^[1]
