Kroctar was the homeworld of the Kroctari, members of the New Republic whom willingly joined the Imperial Remnant upon the faked resurrection of Thrawn. During that time, Kroctar was the capital and merchant center of the Shataum sector.

The world fell to the Yuuzhan Vong during the Yuuzhan Vong War.
