The Kuat Explorer was a Human colony ship.

The Explorer was the colony vessel that colonized the planet Alsakan in 26,000 BBY. As this was before the invention of the hyperdrive, it was likely a sleeper ship. Members of the Hirken family were aboard, making them among the oldest families on Alsakan.
