The Kulless Squall was a unique podracer of custom design that had been created by the former podracer mechanic Shrivel Braittrand. When Braittrand's employer, Boles Roor, quit podracing for a singing career, Braittrand scrapped Roor's podracer and built the Kulless Squall from scratch.[1]
