LEGO Star Wars: Bombad Bounty is a five-minute short film based on the Original trilogy of Star Wars. It premiered online on November 4th 2010, and was created by the same makers of The Quest for R2-D2. It is a comedic retelling of the original Star Wars Trilogy, featuring Jar Jar Binks in several iconic sequences from the trilogy.

Opening crawlEdit

Episode ?
It is a period of civil war.
And war, as everybody
knows, make things dirty.
Really, really dirty. Like
absolutely filthy.

Just nineteen years ago,
Everything was so clean
and shiny and polished.
And now look at it.
It's a real shame.

Fortunately for the galaxy,
there is A NEW HOPE.
A hope... with a mop.

Boss Nass Cleaners:
scrubbing the galaxy clean,
one system at a time....

The film opens with the opening scene of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, but as the Rebel forces inside the Tantive IV prepare to be boarded, Jar Jar, acting as a janitor, mops the floor. The wet floor causes the boarding Imperials to flip and fall, including Darth Vader, who orders Boba Fett to capture Jar Jar.

Boba Fett proceeds to chase Jar Jar across the galaxy, through many of the major sequences of the Original Trilogy. Jar Jar is eventually successful in eluding Boba Fett, and joins the Rebel Alliance in celebrating the fall of the Empire on Endor.

Behind the scenesEdit

Kit Fisto and Nute Gunray are featured despite their canon deaths nineteen years earlier.

Indiana Jones makes two random appearances in this short, once on Vader's TV, the second on the Death Star. Mola Ram, a character from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, also has a small cameo, as does Satipo from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The short was released as a bonus feature on the Blu Ray/DVD combo of LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace.
