The LSS 401 Stun Cuffs were a pair of of modified handcuffs used during the period following the Yuuzhan Vong war. They were known as a less sophisticated version of the LSS 1000 Automatic Stun Cuffs.

LS 401s were operated by remote, and could inflict varying degrees of pain upon the prisoner. Leia Organa Solo and her Master, Saba Sebatyne, captured onboard the Star Destroyer Admiral Ackbar, were fitted with stun cuffs by Admiral Nek Bwua'tu's security guards in the Murgo Choke. Giving their word as Jedi Knights, the prisoners eventually had their stun cuffs removed, but remained incarcerated onboard the vessel.
