Lammas was a species of tree that was found only on Haruun Kal. Specimens typically grew into meter-thick boles that were characterized by their smooth, gray bark. The wood that was produced from the harvesting of lammas fetched a high price throughout the galaxy; it was used to roast portaak leaves.

Behind the scenesEdit

Lammas is also a neopagan and Christian holy day, in countries of the northern hemisphere; the word also refers to a second crop of leaves growing on deciduous trees in autumn, which are different to those preceding the new growth.
