The Lanai's language was a language spoken by the Lanai species on the planet Ahch-To. Alcida-Auka noted that after he arrived on the island, the latest Outsider had learned the Lanai's language and ways.[1]
The language was a combination of spoken words and hand motions. Though there was a written language, its use was rare and fire signals were generally used for long-range communications. Lanai-song was a mixture of whistles and guttural oscillations performed during chores.[2]
