Biography
Edit
- "If there had been more time, Master Skaa would have said farewell. You know that."
- ―Ring-Sol Ambase, to Nuru Kungurama

Lanchu[3] Skaa was a Force-sensitive male who lived during the last decades of the Galactic Republic. Skaa was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order and eventually reached the rank of Jedi Master.[2] Before or during the year 22 BBY,[1] he took the Chiss Nuru Kungurama as his Padawan.[2] In 22 BBY, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, his Padawan Anakin Skywalker, and Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo were captured by the Separatists on the planet Geonosis, and the Jedi sent a task force to rescue the trio from execution.[1] Master Skaa was part of the strike team and left his Padawan without a chance to say goodbye. Skaa was killed during the mission, and his fellow Jedi Master Ring-Sol Ambase accepted Kungurama as his Padawan. Both Ambase and Kungurama mourned Skaa during the ensuing Clone Wars.[2]
Personality and traits
Edit
Although Skaa left Nuru Kungurama without saying farewell, both Ring-Sol Ambase and Kungurama believed that he would have done so if he had had the time. Both liked Skaa and felt immense grief after the death of the Jedi Master.[2][3]
Powers and abilities
Edit
Skaa possessed the knowledge and the skills required to become a Jedi Master. Although he was a trained Jedi, he was killed during the Battle of Geonosis[2] like many other Jedi.[1]
