Behind the scenesEdit

Before being signed on as Mace Windu for Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, Samuel L. Jackson was slated to appear in a cameo role as Grando Calrissian, Lando's father.[1] Whether or not this is the actual name of Lando's father remains to be seen.

A character named Raan Calrissian also appears in the young reader's book The Clone Wars: Decide Your Destiny: Tethan Battle Adventure and is an adult in 21 BBY who visits Cloud City and has a contact on Socorro[2], but there is still no mention in any source if he and Lando are in any way related.

The Phantom Clone, an episode of the non-canon animated series LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, introduces a character named Lindo Calrissian as Lando's father. Lindo owns the Millennium Falcon and is voiced by Lando's actor Billy Dee Williams.[3]
