"You close with your old man?"
"Not really."
"Yeah. Me either."
―Lando Calrissian and Han Solo[src]

This human male was the father of Lando Calrissian. After asking Han Solo if he was close with his old man, Calrissian said that he wasn't close with his dad.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Lando Calrissian's father was first mentioned in the 2018 Star Wars Anthology film Solo: A Star Wars Story. There were plans to include him earlier in the Star Wars franchise when Samuel L. Jackson was slated to appear as Lando's father–then named Grando Calrissian–in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, before signing to play Jedi Master Mace Windu instead.[2]
