Junior Operations Manager Lasro Javeq was a freighter captain who was responsible for the explosion of a Xizor Transport Systems freighter at the Baobab Merchant Fleet Complex on Manda. Javeq's freighter, berthed at the Baobab docking bays, suffered a catastrophic reactor feedback failure that killed over 2,000 employees and grounded 125 Baobab Merchant vessels.

He had been embezzling from XTS during his five years with the company, as much as five million credits. His profile revealed that he had had many psychological instabilities, and his act was deemed a suicide.
