Latika Garboren was a woman who lived in the Taung Heights in Coruscant. She was a self-professed "history nut", having a great interest in history. In 22 BBY, she noticed that a dollop of pastebread she was preparing resembled the emblem of a Sith Acolyte. She first tried to contact the Jedi, but failing that, contacted local security instead, and constabulary detective Dherik Rule investigated it for her.
