The Law Elders were the ruling planetary council of Bimmisaari. During the early days of the Thrawn campaign, the Elders opened negotiations to join the New Republic. After negotiations with Leia Organa Solo, Bimmisaari ultimately chose to join the New Republic, and other worlds in the Halla sector such as Danuta followed suit.
