Legislative Youth Program
From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.
The Legislative Youth Program was a Galaxy-wide organization. It consisted, as its name suggests, of the children that wished to enter public service.
Each year, the program's members held a month-long mock Senate trial in Hanna City on the planet Chandrila. In 22 BBY, one such trial was held in which the Military Creation Act was voted on. It passed by a margin of 52% to 48%.
In 22 BBY, during their brief stay on Naboo, Padmé Amidala recounted her childhood experiences with the program to Anakin Skywalker.
The Apprentice Legislature organization was presumably linked to the Legislative Youth Program as a more career-oriented branch.
