Queen Leonie, along with her husband, Arno, was a popularly-elected monarch of Zeltros in 4 ABY.

Chosen for her skills in combat, art, science and love, Leonie was exceedingly charismatic and intelligent, even in comparison with other Zeltrons. She enjoyed collecting erotic sculptures, expensive hats, and shoes (which she was reputed to own 1.2 million pairs of), and could play the Zeltron lute and kloo horn. She often said that what pleased her people pleased her.
Following the Battle of Endor, Leonie and Arno hosted a celebration for visitors from the Alliance of Free Planets. This happy event came to an end when Zeltros found itself the target of the Nagai, the Hiromi and the Tofs.

Queen Leonie was created by Mary Jo Duffy and Cynthia Martin.
Leonie is an old German name.
Leonie's monumental shoe collection is probably a reference to Imelda Marcos, the real-life wife of the Filipino president, who also had an enormous number of shoes.
