Leor Hal, a small, wiry Human male, was a member of the Jedi Order of the Old Republic.
[edit] Biography
Hal developed the Potentium view of the Force, and after attempting to spread his views, was exiled from the Order with his followers by Yoda in 132 BBY.
Hal wandered through space, eventually finding the living planet Zonama Sekot. In 89 BBY, he encouraged groups of Ferroan and Langhesi colonists to settle on the planet, and he made himself the first Magister.
Hal imprinted much of his own philosophy on the Force, leadership, and civilization on both the planetary mind and the viewpoints of the settlers. Hal developed both the idea to sell living Sekotan ships via the new company Zonama Sekot Shipbuilders, and to build massive hyperdrives beneath the planet's surface.
After Hal's death, his name was considered to be sacred and unspeakable by the inhabitants of Zonama. Eventually, Hal's granddaughter, Jabitha, would succeed him as Magister.
