Lettow was a planet in the Core Worlds. It bordered the Deep Core.[1] Joining the Galactic Republic in 22,000 BBY, it was the birthplace of the Legions of Lettow, a dark side group of the early Republic.

"Lettow" was a name used for members of the Legions of Lettow, the name for the entirety of the Sith Order, in George Lucas' first revision of the original script of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, then-titled The Star Wars.[2] It is unknown what, if any, connection the planet Lettow has with this concept.
