Lexi Degarienne was a male Human Jedi Knight who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the waning years of the Republic Classic era.

BiographyEdit

A member of the Jedi Order, Degarienne had studied at the Coruscant Jedi Temple's academy and was eventually made a Jedi Knight after passing his Trials of Knighthood. At some point, Degarienne secretly started a family on Corellia in violation of the Jedi Code, hiding them from the Jedi High Council and his peers. When the Republic and the Order were disbanded by the Galactic Empire and the Dark Lord of the Sith who controlled it, Degarienne managed to go into hiding with his family on Janara III. Taking the name "Degarienne", which indeed was not his true surname, the former Jedi and his family tried to live their lives without drawing the attention of the Imperial Inquisitorius. When Degarienne's daughter, Anii was killed in a suspicious factory explosion, Degarienne took on the role of caretaker for his granddaughter Alexandra. While his son-in-law Matt Turhaya, did not know all of the details of his wife's death, Degarienne believed that she had been targeted by the Empire. Eventually, Imperial stormtroopers arrived on Janara III and killed Degarienne in 12 BBY; little Alexandra was discovered by Lieutenant Chancellor and given to Tork Winger for his own.^[1]
