The Lianna system[4] was located within the Tion Cluster of the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It contained the astronomical object Lianna, the homeworld of the powerful Santhe family,[3] and was situated in grid square S-6 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
The Lianna system was connected to the astronomical objects Columex and Desevro by the Perlemian Trade Route.[1] The Shaltin Tunnels hyperspace route also extended through the Lianna system, therefore connecting to the Perlemian[4] as well linking the system to the astronomical object Cadinth and[1] the planet[5] Zygerria.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Lianna system was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the twenty-first issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[4] published around May 27, 2015.[6] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Lianna system was introduced in Mission to Lianna, a 1992 supplement authored by Joanne E. Wyrick for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[7]
