[edit] Infiltration

After he stole a gunboat from the Federation in the previous battle, Lt. Sykes of Bravo Squadron traveled along the Andrevea River at night. He had to report into his captain, who told him to continue. The droid forces had mined the river, but Sykes was able to clear passage. Several droid starfighters flew overhead, however, and Sykes panicked. Captain Kael managed to calm him down. He then came out into a large bay area, where some of the camps were located. Since he was in a gunboat, the forces stationed there believed him to be one of them. A minelayer was attempting to block the water off, but Sykes shot it down. Laser turrets opened fire on the turncoat gunboat, but Sykes destroyed the power generators, shutting off the lasers and allowing the civilians to escape. This also prevented the camps from sending out a warning. Kael contacted him and said Borvo was sending transport for the civilians in the area. As Sykes went further down the river, he saw another gunboat that was racing away to warn the rest of the camps. Gavyn caught up to it and sunk it, keeping his identity safe. He had to destroy more mines on the way to the main camp.

[edit] Main Camp

Sykes had no problem passing through the gates of the camp. As he fought through the turrets, the camp launched more gunboats at him. Sykes also had to take out the anti-air turrets, so Vedd Deviss could destroy the generators. After Sykes cleared the way, Deviss came in of a strafing run. The civilians were free, but the resistance did not have enough transports. The civilians found several houseboats to travel in, and Sykes escorted them up the river.

[edit] Sanctuary

As dawn broke, Sykes and the civilians approached the end of the river and the town Ferentina, which was being wiped out by the Trade Federation. The AATs opened fire on the transports. Sykes, knowing his group must take to the land, got to a water-based security hangar first, and took to the skies in a police cruiser. He destroyed the tanks, then knocked out a tunnel through which additional tanks were pouring out. As the civilians were loading into Flash speeders, Sykes flew over the town to provide support. He saved two more speeders which were stuck behind a fallen tower. Sykes then advanced into the canyon ahead of the speeders and took out a blockade of tanks. Many droid starfighters attacked, but Sykes successfully escorted them to an ancient hiding place near Devils Tower. He also found technology useful to the resistance. One of the speeders collapsed the rock bed behind them as they waited for transport. Sykes landed and took one of the speeders. Hollis contacted him and said Captain Kael was missing and was shot down. Sykes raced off to find him.
