The Liberator was an aquatic repulsorcraft employed by Wookiee fleets. It acted as an anti-aircraft destroyer. Stationed on the forest-covered rivers and lakes of Kashyyyk, Liberators could protect the homeworld against strafing, but more importantly against bombing runs intended to defoliate the battlefield and rob the native Wookiees of their natural fighting advantage among the trees.
