Light Dust was a substance that the Ewoks of Bright Tree Village believed responsible for rejuvenating the Tree of Light.

The Tree of Light kept the Night Spirit from daylight incursions into their village, and young warriors had to periodically travel to the tree to sprinkle it with Light Dust. In return, they earned a Feather of Light, and the village celebrated the Light Festival.
