Lightning was a EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate in the service of the Galactic Empire. It served as a command ship on multiple simulation missions that Maarek Stele went through.
History[]
The Lightning attacked and destroyed number of small Rebel footholds in various parts of space. The missions involved sending a single TIE Interceptor to clear a minefield and steal equipment from a Class-A cargo container Koss protected by a minefield, destroying a Rebel depot which consisted of shuttles Revt transports Bultz, Container transport Moth and containers with starfighters for defense. Finally, a Rebel starfighter base consisting of 3 containers Retuna, Reyve and Garble and was filled with multiple starfighters, a single transport Trole and some tugs Toone and finally two cargo ferries Juble.
All these events were recorded and recreated to be training simulations in the Combat chamber to train future pilots such as Maarek Stele.
