Lightning grenade was a Force power that combined telekinesis and Force lightning into a projectile capable of dealing considerable damage. The user would use Force grip to grab a person or an object, then shoot it with lightning, and throw it high speed at a target, causing an explosion.

• The Emperor was a mastered user of this technique. While using lightning shield, he could lift up to four pieces of debris, energize them with lightning, and toss them one after another.

• Another such user was Galen Marek, the secret apprentice of Sith Lord Darth Vader, who would lift enemies or debris with the Force, energize them with lightning, and toss them at the enemy, causing force explosion upon contact. This skill is also used by his clone after escaping Kamino.
