A type of droids was used as training droids by the Jedi Order during the Separatist Crisis. Equipped with blaster rifles, these droids were used in the Jedi Temple to test the skills of Jedi Master-Padawan teams. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were pitted against such droids shortly before the Clone Wars. During the test, Anakin scoffed at the droids, betraying his overconfidence.
