The Lijarak Mines Incident was a battle between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic that took place on the Lijarak Mines of Anic shortly before the Battle of Yavin.

The Empire won the battle, but a few Rebels escaped. Alliance spelunker Larq Thur was killed during the fight.
