Lobel were quadrupeds that naturally produced powerful magnetic fields that impeded the operation of nearby repulsorlifts and (reportedly) gave pilots headaches.^[1] A number of lobel were living on both Quesh and Asation shortly after the Great Galactic War, and small lobel were frequently kept as pets, with Lobelode, Lobelot and Lobelisk being common pet names.^[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

Lobel was created for use in Jabba's Palace in Return of the Jedi, but was left out of the film.^[3]
