"Lock" was a clone trooper captain who served under Jedi General and Council member Eeth Koth during the Clone Wars. When the Jedi Cruiser Steadfast was attacked by General Grievous and his battle droids, Koth ordered Lock and his forces to evacuate the ship.

BiographyEdit

Early LifeEdit

Lock[3] was a clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett grown on the planet Kamino.[1]

Capture of Eeth KothEdit

"Get yourselves to the escape pods. I will deal with Grievous here."
"But sir, they're commando droids!"
"That does not matter, Captain. Now go!"
―Eeth Koth orders Lock to evacuate[src]

At some point during the Clone Wars, Captain Lock was positioned aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer Steadfast with a company of clones under the command of Jedi General Eeth Koth. Whilst the ship was in the Outer Rim Territories, General Grievous and Separatist battle droids attacked and boarded the ship, engaging in a battle with the Republic clone troopers on board. Lock and his men held their ground and defended the ship until Koth ordered Lock and his men to evacuate. Much to Lock's dismay, he eventually complied and boarded an escape pod. Shortly afterwards, Koth and a group of clones engaged Grievous in a duel on the bridge, however the Jedi was defeated and captured by the general.[2]

Personality and traitsEdit

Lock was a human male clone of Jango Fett, standing at 1.83 meters.[1] During the Clone Wars, Lock wore customized Phase I clone trooper armor that featured green and yellow markings. During the attack on the Steadfast, Lock was shown to be defiant of his Jedi General, trying to convince Koth that he could not defeat Grievous and his droids alone. However, he eventually obeyed Koth's order to escape, which ultimately resulted in the Jedi's capture.[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

Lock was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also provided the voice for all other clone characters during the Clone Wars TV series.
