Lomabu III

Lomabu III was a planet in the Lomabu system located near the Aida system. It had only one moon and was covered almost completely by oceans interrupted by long archipelagos where Carnivorous flagellate microorganisms covered their many beaches. The Galactic Empire depopulated the planet of its natives as punishment for rebelling against Imperial authority, then used the planet as a penal colony for fugitive Wookiees. In 3 ABY, the Imperial Governor of the system, Io Desnand, planned to stage an attack on the penal colony, thus baiting Rebel ships into a rescue attempt. Desnand's plan was foiled when the Wookiee prisoners were rescued by Tinian I'att and the Wookiee Chenlambec.
