Lommite was a type of ore that was one of the primary constituent materials of transparisteel, durasteel, starfighter canopies, and dura-armor. It was the principal export of Dorvalla Mining. The ore was chalky in both texture and coloring, though lommite crystals were also known to exist. It could also be used by artists and molded like clay.

The planets Dorvalla, Elom and Ord Thoden^[1] had extensive lommite deposits, as well as the moon of Koratas^[2].
