The Lors were a prominent family of Twi'leks who enjoyed a close personal friendship with Admiral Natasi Daala. In 42 ABY, Admiral Daala, as Chief of State of the Galactic Alliance, appointed the young Desha Lor to serve as the assistant to Chief of Staff Wynn Dorvan. Lor's father was also an Alliance ambassador.
